Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Who are you?
A. My name is George M. Anderson.  You can find a picture of me here.  I am a soon-to-be graduate of Kaplan Career Institute in Nashville, TN.  I am A+ Certified as of May of this year, and I have at least 10 years of experience working on my own PC. I can be reached at this fine, elegantly crafted link here.

Q, What is KUO?>
A. KUO stands for Keeping U Online.   These days, it's important to be online as much as possible, because everything depends on having access to the internet, whether it's for social networking, keeping up with your finances, or even working for a living.  At KUO, we will be Keeping U Online.

Q. Where are you located?
A. I am based out of the Nashville area, with emphasis in the Donelson/Airport/Hermitage area, though I am willing to travel.

Q.  Do you give estimates?
A. Yes, I do give free estimates for all services.  I give the Best estimate on the Good/Better/Best scale in order to better service you, the customer.

Q. How much does will it cost?
A.  All prices will calculated fairly and accurately based on several factors.  Things like memory upgrades, hardware upgrades and such will be determined by what you, the customer, want.  In addition, any labor charges will be based on a sliding scale, dependent on what you can afford.

Q.  Do you take MC/Visa/Amex/Discover or PayPal?
A. Unfortunately, KUO does not have the means to process credit card or PayPal accounts at this time.  We will be looking into this as the business expands, but for right now, it's cash, check or money order.

Q. Why are you doing this?
A. Honestly, it's because I love the thrill I get when a customer is totally satisfied with my work.  I also enjoy the satisfaction of working with my hands, and PC repair allows me to do this.

Q. Why all the Ads?
A. Let's be honest.  Running a website isn't cheap.  While there are sites that will set you up for free, chances are if you want more out of your site, you're going to have to pay for it.  Advertising will allow me to do this without driving up my overhead for the business.  So please, disable your ad blocker and click some of those ads you see at the top of the page.  Who knows, you might find something useful there.
